Project overview

Jewellery that needs room to breathe.

Carricks is a UK jeweller working across a collection and fully bespoke pieces. The website had to carry the same restraint as the work: few words, large photographs, and a door you want to walk through.

The challenge

Luxury pieces. A site that must not shout.

01 / 02

Bespoke jewellery is bought on trust and taste. A busy ecommerce grid would cheapen the pieces. Carricks needed a site that feels like walking up to the door: private, considered, and easy to enquire without a cart.

What we did

A door, a collection, a private conversation.

02 / 02

We designed a full-bleed, image-led site with a short path: Collection, Bespoke, About, Contact. The homepage is a threshold, not a catalog. Enquiry stays personal - phone and email - matching how high-value commissions actually start.

What we shipped

Space, photography, and a quiet ask.

01

Threshold homepage

A single cinematic frame instead of a merchandising grid, so the brand feels private from the first scroll.

02

Bespoke vs collection

Two clear paths so ready pieces and commissions never compete in the same crowded list.

03

Private enquiry

Contact stays human: a number and an email, not a checkout flow that doesn't fit the sale.

The results

The commission starts as a conversation.

Visitors meet the house through photography first, then move to collection or bespoke and reach the studio by phone or email - the way this kind of work is actually commissioned.
